Dave Caplan serves as CEO and executive producer of Trooper Entertainment, responsible for managing the daily operation as well as the growth of the company as both a full services production company and international business entity. Prior to founding Trooper in 2014, Dave Caplan was Vice President of Development for 51 Minds Entertainment, where he created and executive produced multiple series including Ghost Mine For SYFY, Scrubbing In for MTV, Heroes of Cosplay for SYFY, and Cash Dome for TruTV, among others.
Dave also previously worked in development at Pilgrim Studios, where he developed the hit series Wicked Tuna for Nat Geo, among others. Dave holds a bachelors degree from The University of California, Santa Cruz.
Lauren Rosenberg has worked in the non-scripted TV business for nearly adecade at both major talent agencies and prolific reality TV production companies. The sink-or-swim environment of William Morris Endeavor Entertainment is definitely where Lauren cut her teeth, but as she discovered as the Manager of Development at 51 Minds, development was her true calling. She currently identifies, hones and sells potential reality television properties as Vice President of Development at Trooper Entertainment. Over the past four years, she has created and pitched projects that have been set up at Freeform, MTV, E!, SyFy, OWN, Bravo, A&E, TruTV, TLC, Discovery, CMT, WEtv, AMC, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and DIY, and served as Co-Executive Producer on the Freeform series Monica The Medium.
With over 20 years of reality television experience, including 2 Emmy nominations, Raiko has combined his producing background at E! Entertainment (Critics Choice Awards, E! News Daily, Cannes Specials) and his promo skills as a writer/editor (The Oscars, American Idol, Nascar) to emerge as a development extraordinaire. As the supervising producer of development at 51 Minds, he helped launch such series as Below Deck, Ghost Mine and Heroes of Cosplay, and developed Alien Encounters. Since joining Trooper at its start in 2015, Raiko continues to utilize his unique talent as a DP, producer, writer and editor to oversee current projects from development through series production.
Michael Wylie is the development coordinator at Trooper Entertainment, where he supports the CEO and VP of Development by coordinating schedules, editing casting tapes, and creating pitch decks. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in data mining informatics, he moved to Los Angeles and spent four years cutting his teeth on clip shows. He worked as a writers’ assistant, executive assistant, and associate producer before getting his first taste of development on what would become MTV’s Amazingness. He joined Trooper in June 2019.
